Reading Rug      Semmes Elementary is a wonderful school in a rural area. The school was built about 11 years ago. Many of the rugs which were purchased for the school 11 years ago are now no longer usable. The rugs which are still in use are often dirty and faded. Many of the special education classrooms no longer have rugs. The special education staff at our school would love to be able to purchase rugs for our classrooms which facilitate learning by allowing students to be able to sit on the rug for instruction and use the design of the rug to learn valuable literacy lessons.
